If one thing is certain about Dick and Betsy DeVos, it is that they are specialists in the area of mind control economics, where the plans of anything and everything will come to a complete halt unless it was their idea and has their names, or the names of one of their many infamous business entities, brand-stamped on it.
If there was a case to be made for someone trying to diabolically “control the world,” the DeVos -the Amway King and Auto Parts, et al Queen -are way ahead of the grand scheme of things. If nothing else, they are definitely trying to control the narrative and the conversations about it.
It may appear that the Devoses have made “huge” improvements, paved “remarkable” inroads, and engineered “big” developments that have “saved the world” (or at the least the world they think they are living in), but the truth is that some (too many) people are making a bigger deal out of the DeVos brand of economics than they should.
The strides they have made to stop one plan and turn it into their plan and their vision for the state of Michigan, with practically no input from the people whose lives they affect — and now for the United States as a whole — leaves one with the smack of a bad taste in their mouths. If the DeVos’es don’t approve it, it won’t be approved — no matter how great of an idea it is coming from the likes of you. If it didn’t come from them, it’s no good. Period.
History won’t treat them kindly, hasn’t so far … but they are being gosh awfully beadedly head-strung about themselves and their power. You have to agree with whatever it is they do, because you don’t have a choice, and they have no merits outside of forcing adoration and love from people who actually don’t care for them very much at all. GOD Himself wouldn’t even do that, but they apparently think they are greater than God.
They don’t come off as a real power couple who work for or toward the benefit of others, but only for whatever it is they think it will take to make their enterprises and their products and BIG IDEA SMARTS loom “larger than life.”
As the privileged almighty over-bloated white house family made their way across Michigan’s landscape into the nation’s capitol, the former Union state that fought largely for worker’s rights became an empty shell of itself. The once booming American auto industry went nearly to complete failure as the DeVos brand snaked and maneuvered and manipulated its way into the lives of working-class Americans and single-handedly destroyed them one auto part at a time.
For whatever reason, the Republican Party gets richer and richer and the American people get poorer and poorer and more destitute by the moment because their entire “big picture” is surrounded by turning what works into something unredeemable and unrecognizable, and is supported by people who are more than likely afraid to challenge them.
In return for that devout fearful loyalty, the American people get “you should work harder” or you should “think bigger” when the truth is that it isn’t hard work or big thoughts that drive the DeVos’ hardwired machine, it’s having the money to buy their way into places where they don’t belong and then making people believe they belong there just because the people are afraid of other people with lots of money.
Operating on the politics of fear over industry, and fright over thought, American infrastructure is crumbling one bridge at a time, and American ingenuity is all but dying out and rapidly falling to pieces.
For these types, the Devoses’ of the world, it’s “my way or hit the highway” … because “you don’t have the sense enough to know what you want or need, so I will tell you, because you were stupid enough to put your money, all of it, in my hands”.
They’re like dictating and controlling household parents who won’t let you grow up, and then get mad if you don’t grow up.
Though Betsy DeVos says her biggest mission in life is to “give other children the same opportunities that she had” as a youngster and a student by use of an educational vouchering system, the truth is that the big ideas of the DeVoses are nothing more or less than astronomical pipedreams that don’t fit anyone’s agenda except their own.
The mainstream news about them, engineered by the DeVos’ and people like, say, oh … Donald Trump, is geared toward diminishing the truth and making themselves appear to be inventive, ingenious, innovative, and big “movers and shakers” across the nation when the truth is, it is all #fakenews. And one of the reasons Trump knows so much about #fakenews is that he is one of the chief architects of it.
As the Devos’ don’t think any plans that are not their plans with their names on it are good plans, Trump also believes that if he doesn’t believe it, no one else should.
Through some ‘evangelical encounters of a close kind’, these romantic christianesque types have turned their controlling mindsets into something that they see as highly spiritual in nature when the truth is that the many things they believe in bear no semblance of reality – it’s all “made for TV.”
Republican policies have killed the American economy before, resulting in one recession after another, and even had Calvin Coolidge in the early 1900s to lead the United States into a Great Depression that Franklin Delano Roosevelt had to pull the nation out of in the 1920s. Welfare states came about only because Republicans had so badly crashed out the economy and hoarded everything unto themselves that there has only been one small instance of time in America when it looked like things were going to level off, and that is about the time the Clintons were in high political office in the 1990s. But yet and still, the then-First Lady of the United States, Hillary, was shown to be just one more person who could not resist selling her people off to the highest bidder.
For her sins committed when her husband, Bill, was President, she should have been the Health Secretary and not the Secretary of State, because that’s where she could have made up for the failure to properly see healthcare reform through in the 1990s.
Great prosperity never came to America on the watch of any Republicans, regardless; because basically any ideas they put forth are non-working ideas that are designed to do more stealing, killing, and destroying (the pure “mark of the beast”), than healing, helping, and building.
They talk the talk all day about “tax cuts for all Americans,” but the part they aren’t talking about is that they think they are all the ‘America’ there is. What the living hell is any “average American” going to do with a damned tax cut when they don’t have anything aFter taxes and bills TO cut. And don’t get it twisted. Until your income is in the millions, those ‘tax cuts’ are temporary “feel-good” moves that accomplish nothing, and don’t do anything to move you from where you are now to where you are trying to be.
Tax cuts for the rich end up leaving the poorest of the poor to pay the bills the rich create. Oh, the bills are still coming regardless — they are just trying to make sure YOU -Mr and Ms Average Taxpayer- pay them, and not themselves. We’ve seen all of it before, and if we were to take a good guess at the history behind this, what we call “the American economy”, i.e., Trump’s economy, it will have American enterprise, ingenuity, and internal motivation back in the toilet by the second quarter of 2018. This holiday season 2017 is already promising and gearing up to be the dankest most depressing one we’ve had in the past eight years.
When it happens – and I did not say IF, but WHEN this economy is in the toilet – this is the one time in history when “average Americans” will have no one to blame for the outcome but themselves.
The evangelical schtick has called so much for America to “call those things that be not as though they are” as they have so many people fake-believing in a fake financial prosperity wish that cannot come true and has them not believing at all in that which was meant to be.
They even have fake preachers in their pockets, following them around while trying to convince their congregations that the fake Republican belief systems are the “answer” to all of our woes, but the truth is that the fake Republican belief systems are engineered to put money in the fake preacher’s pockets in exchange for telling YOU, Mr and Ms Average Taxpayer, a big fat fraudulent lie; so whatever the DeVos and Trumpean kinds don’t take from you under duress, the preachers will spin for you sermons about “tithes and offerings” that will have you putting your last dime in a money bucket praying for a financial and economic absolution that isn’t coming. But you will get that ten-fold increase as soon as you stop putting ten percent of your income in that collection plate. #thatisall
One thing is certain above all else … the DeVos and Trumpean dreams and ideas of the economy are like monkey poop on flypaper and frozen spit on a beard during an ice-fishing expedition.
Call it ‘negative speaking’ or speaking negatively all you want, you will one day learn -as so many millions of others already have- the difference between negativity and facts. The hard way.And you will revisit and revisit and revisit the hardest lessons until you learn them and learn them REAL good.
Once. Again… .
