Yasin Bey AKA Mos Def has been stuck in South Africa, which has been his home since 2013, until yesterday when he was granted to leave.

He had ben arrested for trying to leave using a false passport (read more here) but apologized and been allowed to leave. This means he can finally plan his tour, which will be his last after he announced he was retiring from the music and film industries earlier this year.

The final shows will be in NY Apollo Theater and DC’s Kennedy Center and will feature “surprise special guests,”.

I’m sure it will be a big and emotional send off!
