Just after midnight Robert Crumb stabbed his wife to death and injured his 16 year-old daughter in their home. After which his 12 year-old son called the police and Crumb fled the home in his vehicle. He was spotted by an officer and led the officer on a wild 20 minute chase which ended with Crumb crashing his car at a gas station. His car and a car nearby burst into flames.

As if this is not crazy enough, what happened next will shock you. After the crash one officer pulled out his gun and aimed it at the car.

Crumb ran from the car and charged the officer. The officer and back up subdued the man without incident.

A man stabs his wife to death, injures his 16 year-old daughter, flees the scene of a crime, runs from the cops, charges at an officer, and is then taken down without incident and rushed to the hospital so his self-inflicted stab wounds can be treated. The officer with his gun aimed at the car did not shoot one shot, not one but a black man can’t follow orders given by the police without being killed.

Everyone sees the irony in this situation but we all choose to turn a blind eye to it because it doesn’t affect us.
