Chris Brown may be trying to make a good turn or just sell more records with his latest annoucement, who knows!!!

Anyway, the man has announced via a video on Instagram that sales from his new album, aptly titled “Royalty” will be split with a Children’s Charity.

So, $1 from every sale will go to charity. In the video who said “The holidays are all about giving back, so this Christmas, from now until Christmas, if you order the album, pre-order the album, one dollar of every album sold will go to Children’s Miracle Network hospital”

The new album is named after is daughter and is available to to pre-order now.

#ROYALTY #OHB?

It always feels a bit sour when someone with Brown’s record makes such a pledge. It feels like a slimey marketing tactic rather than a true act of charity, a selfish attempt to shout out, try to improve his public image but ultimately to make more fame and money for himself.

Am I being too harsh here or does the singer deserve a break and a chance to clean up his legacy?

Would love to know what you think?
