Criticism is needed.

It is necessary, because now that the eyes and ears of Black people are FINALLY opening to some degree, the last thing we need is for people to preach platitudes and gloss over and put a high sheen on “niceties” and political correctness that gives some folk the impression that everything is A-ok, when it’s not.

That said, we often refer to our inability to trust one another in the Black communities as the “crab and barrel” syndrome.
