UIMD: A Letter from Africa

UI Meme of the Day, a daily series…

It’s only been more than 500 years, already.

How many brick walls does the United States of America, incorporated, have to have to fall on our heads to let us know in no uncertain terms that, as Black people, we will never be equalized citizens in their constitutionally incorporated stolen country that they thought they were entitled to for free?

Except for the million-dollar insurance policy on our heads and the “Eternal Fountain of Youth” they seek that they can only get from our dead bodies, they have sent the non-stop message that our lives mean nothing unless it is of financial benefit to them.

One young Black man after another shot down in cold blood for no reason, one young Black man after another found dead and his body stuffed with tissues where his vital organs used to be, Black people with no true access to the legal systems across the country — being treated differently just because of the color of their skin, Black women being sexually degraded and mocked, ridiculed and brought down to their Least Common Denominator (LCD), voting rights being taken away, one racial “hit” and “pop” after another, whether verbally or in their actions.

What else is it going to take?

I’m sure if you wanted to add something else to this list, it would wrap around the world and back again, and there would be reams and reams of pages left over to wrap it around again. And again. And AGAIN.

What you CAN do (…forget about what you can’t do, that’s all hog renderings and sludge under the bridge…):

You can be a dual citizen of an African nation and bring the International Courts from those countries down on white America’s heads.

You can have educational and other opportunities available in other countries that are closed to you here.

You can be angry, you have the unmitigated right to be angry.

You can feel entitled. Everyone else has been entitled to what is ours and have barely paid us a thin dime for what they’ve taken.

If white America does not respect you as a Black man or woman, eff ’em:

Respect Y- O- U- R- S- E- L- F.

Act Up. Bless Up. Just Do It.
