If you’re like most people who sees or even hears of a young black man with dreads no less, you thought that he was caught doing some sort of criminal activity. Well I am please to say nope, not this time, you’re not going to stereotype! I was very happy to see a news story from CNN on my news feed speaking about New Jersey football players “caught” being honest shoppers.

The 4 players 3 African American were shopping at a mall when they happened upon a Buddy’s Small Lots department store. Unknown to them the store closed an hour earlier and the lock on the door was broken.

The surveillance camera shows one particular player checking for a cashier and placing money down, making sure to show the cameras that he was not stealing. “When they paid for their batteries and sunglasses, they even included how much they owed for sales tax. And after leaving the money at the checkout counter, they walked to a Rite-Aid store next door and told an employee what they had done”.

The manager of the store only checked the video(above) after being notified by police of a “robbery” but when she check the stores inventory nothing was missing. After viewing the footage the store was so overwhelmed about the honesty of the males that they wanted to offer a reward.

Hows that for positive propaganda? Lets applaud these young men! For more on the story, click here>>
