In Louisville, Kentucky a black female defendant turned up in court without pants and the white judge lost her sh*t! However, this time around the judge was very very very on the side of the woman who had been denied what most would consider extremely basic rights!

This sad story is highlighting the problems women, especially black women, face in our legal system!

The Judge found out the woman had been denied pants and women’s hygiene products after being in jail for three days. She was there for failing to complete a diversion program for a first time shoplifting offence in 2014.

She was facing 75 DAYS IN JAIL! Along with the lack of dignity the woman was given the judge thought this was outrageous too and massively reduced the punishment.
