Video of 19 Month Old Baby Reading Is A Testament To Education Starts Early & At Home

It has been a focus of mine to bring positive, inspirational stories to the black community. Therefore, when this little man was sent to me by my wife, I felt it was a must to bring him to you.

This little man is 19 months old, but can clearly read sight words. His articulation might still be a bit of baby talk, but he knows those words and is eager to engage them verbally. Clearly as he grows, he will become a great reader. However, according to his mother, he doesn’t just read sight words.

My 19 month old son can read. He knows his ABCS (phonetically and recognizes the letters when written), can count to 50 and reads over 300 words- he reads signs everywhere we go so I’m sure he knows more than even I am aware. #YBCR #EarlyEducator

OUTSTANDING! Clearly, this mother and family’s dedication to engaging, teaching and loving their child comes through. This little man is going to be set up for a bright academic and knowledge based future because he has parents behind him that care enough to ensure he gets an outstanding education.

These parents understand that a great education starts at home….and it starts early. If parents of the world believe their children are going to compete in the global workforce of the future by doing anything less than what this mom and family are doing, then they are kidding themselves to be frank.

The future will be won by the educated. Ensure your child is among that group by starting early.

Hats off to you and yours, Mom!
