{VIDEO} 16-year-old cellist heading to Carnegie Hall

Khalil Payne is the 16-year-old prodigy is an amazingly talented and inspiring young man who has fought through tragedy and is going to be heading back to Carnegie Hall for a second time!

“You could say it’s almost like another world. When I start playing, I actually feel the music,” he said. “Because it’s one thing to just play an instrument, and it’s another to make and feel music.”

Last year, he was a freshman at Cobb County’s McEachern High School, when he first graced the Carnegie Hall stage with classmates as part of the Honors Performance Series.
