Okay so this young lady Tomi Lahren had Charlamagne on her show and they discussed Beyoncé’s Super Bowl performance. I’m about to go in real quick on this misinformed young lady, that is getting all her facts from her parents who are probably racist themselves. First of all the Black Panthers were not a terrorist group.

They formed to protect the black community from police brutality and helped the black community by starting several programs such as a free breakfast program for children, free health clinics, SAFE and WIC to name a few.

She referred to them as a terrorist group because they fought back against the police that were terrorizing black communities, very similar to what the KKK did for years. And she stated that the Black Panthers were wrong because two wrong don’t make a right. Well Tomi your little brother is getting beat up every day at school by Bobby the Bully but he’s not fighting back because mom and dad taught him that fighting is wrong. He told his teacher, he told the principle, but little Bobby still won’t leave him alone.

What’s next Tomi? How long does your little brother let Bobby rip him a new one until he decides to fight back? Well that’s what the police did and are continuing to do to my people. And that is only one reason the Black Panther party was formed.

She also continued to bring up Dr. Martin Luther King and his non-violent approach racism in America. Just so you know, after years and years of getting beat up and lock up Dr. King started to believe that non –violence was getting us nowhere fast. And when Dr. King’s mindset shifted to mirror Malcolm X’s mindset he was assassinated by the American government and his family successfully sued the government for his assassination.
A mule can only get kicked so many times before it decides to kick back. So do some fact checking and stop trying speak your beliefs as though they are fact. Everything is cool when we’re laying down letting people use, abuse and kill us but the second we fight back, we become the problem, we become the villains. Girl please have several seats!
