As many already know Beyonce’s Super Bowl performance rubbed a lot of conservative white Americans the wrong. She chose to use her platform to pay homage to the men and women of the Black Panther Party for all that they have done to help uplift the black community on their 50th Anniversary. And of course the criticism has and continues to pour in.

Tip kept it all the way 100 when stopped in an airport and asked about Beyonce’s Formation performance. “How they gonna protest against our protest?” the rapper says, “I don’t think that Beyonce was being malicious in her demonstration and I feel that anything that is done to demonstrate against a pure demonstration is gon lose in the end…” And that’s real, most people in the black community understand and appreciate the symbolism behind what she did and are moved by the fact that she was brave enough to do it. I’m sure she expected this type of backlash but moved forward anyway.

But T.I. and Beyonce already know they aren’t stupid or unaware, by any means, of symbolism behind her performance this is just white America’s way of trying to make the victims the villains.
