On Tuesday night during “The Kelly File.” Saba Ahmed, president and founder of the Republican Muslim Coalition, changed her planned purple hijab, last minute, for an American stars and stripes flag. The strong statement delivered a clear message and hit the point head on.

Also on the show Katrina Pierson, a spokeswoman for Donald Trump, attempted to align terrorist acts with all Muslims by bringing up examples. Any sane person knows this bs doesn’t fly. After all the church has it’s fair amount of scandals! As the Huff Post points out, this logical conclusion would mean every catholic is capable of terrible acts towards children.

Kelly also started with First Amendment Rights speak.

Ahmed and Pierson were on Kelly’s show to discuss Donald Trump’s comments that the U.S. should shut down all mosques, his ridiculous suggestion after the Paris attacks last week!

Basically it was a win for Ahmed who stayed cool in the face of this nonsense and stood proud in her patriotic headdress. She really showed what a badass is and what an American is and stuck it to the man.

The USA is based on a diverse mix of people, but I don’t need to tell you that (But Pearson maybe needs a lesson!). Although predominately Christian we have to remember the figures who helped shape the black community such as Malcom, they carried and cared for the Muslim faith. The faith IS a part of black history and must be protected and accepted in the modern America. Blaming a religion for such heinous acts is disgusting. The biggest issue with religion is people, in my opinion. Bending words for selfish will and acting in the name of another.
