The Special Moment: When A Wrestling Champion Took A Lost For A Special Needs Kid

Even with all of the negativity that surrounds our people in the media, what we should be reporting are more stories like this. Stories that show our compassion for others and celebrating our children when they do extraordinary things. Today we are celebrating LaMont Deloatch son. His son has some serious skills when it comes to wrestling, but on this special day, he decided not to show them off.

His son was wrestling against a special needs kid during this particular match. Instead of physically dominating a kid with disabilities, he decided to take the high-road and let his opponent win. This is a honorable thing to especially in a hyper-competitive sport such as wrestling. But on this day, by being honorable, he made parents cry, coaches cry, and even other wrestlers cry. Lets celebrate this kid as we need more like him and less like Chief Keef.
