When a young girl sitting at a desk is flipped and dragged for civil disobedience and a boy invites an officer to fight, both are disturbing but not for the same reason.
On October 25, 2015 on a Monday at Spring Valley High in SC national news was made over a video because a young girl politely refused to give her cellphone to school officials. She was physically assaulted by the police officer charged with protecting the student body against drugs and violence. She is facing charges of school disturbance.
Wednesday October 28, 2015 at Martin Luther King, Jr High School in GA a student assaulted a police officer charged with the same type of duty in their school. This male student was the aggressor who not only took an aggressive fighting stance against the officer but poked him in the stomach.
Not only was the entire incident at MLK caught on tape the campus officer NEVER hit, dragged or physically abused the young man. The officer used defensive techniques to protect himself against the student attacking him. The student is charged with battery.
Two different students, two different circumstances, two different officers yes two students charged with a crime. One student very deserving of criminal charges the other student not deserving of criminal charges.
