2) Doubling minimum wage undermines all the people that have worked hard to move up the pay scale.

Because people are suppose to magically double your salary, what happens to all those people that put in the hours of work, study, long nights of application developing the skill to move up the pay ladder? Think about it. If I did what I am suppose to do, moved into a position that pays me $18/hr or $20/hr doing the right thing, and now you make just a few bucks less than me because of some rallying and the stroke of a pen?

That is some BS if I have never seen it before in my life. Do you think companies will double everyone’s pay to keep things fair in the process or what? This is so bogus I can’t even continue expounding on this matter. We are clearly out of control and don’t want to put the necessary work and skill development in needed to be successful in this world…..which brings me to my last point.

3) How about you take that MARCHING & ORGANIZING energy and go get some skills that will pay you more than what it does for flipping burgers?

The market place in this world pays for value. Value comes from skills. If you don’t have skills, you don’t have value, thus you don’t make what you desire. If you want to increase your wages or get paid what you desire, develop more skills, apply them to the market place which creates more value and the market place will GLADLY pay you more.

See how this works. You delay INSTANT GRATIFICATION for hard work and skill development, then you get what you desire. You don’t just walk out into the street and whine like a 5 year old because you have spent a life time of making piss poor choices and get what you want. This is the real freaking world and it is about time all of you GROW THE HELL UP, get a pair, sit down and start doing the developmental work necessary to feed a family or be successful.

All the damn opportunity in this world with 24 glorious hours each day to chase it and you want to spend it whining and complaining because you are coming up short. We pay all this money for you to get a public education, there are nonprofit organizations bending over backwards to help people and we still just want hand outs. This is crazy. No one is stopping you from burning the midnight oil taking online or correspondence courses to develop more knowledge and skill, work as interns to get new experience in different field with more opportunity for growth and higher wages. The only person stopping you is you. Period.

Say what you will about me, spell my name right, but you know i’m ON THE MONEY!

Yes, i’m a business owner. Yes, i’m a capitalist. But I am logical, rational, and understand how the market place works. You can’t beg, borrow and steal your way into a decent living. It comes from a life time of smart choices, delayed gratification, hard work, development of knowledge, skill and the ability to put it into APPLICATION in the market place. If you are missing any one of these, then you just might end up taking my order the next time I visit a fast food restaurant with my family. And if burgers are $15 a pop, you can kiss that job good bye because the wife and I (along with millions other) won’t be paying that exorbitant fee so your lazy, short-sighted, living in the moment self can be justified.
