Before I start, I am extremely glad the FBI did the work to get this nut before he copied his hero Dylann Roof and murdered a slew of innocent people! However, I am a bit dismayed that no media reports I have seen so far have called him a terrorist, or at least a potential terrorist. Neo-Nazi, White Supremacist….. Loner….. But nope, not terrorist!

So what’s going down?

Well, 29 year old Benjamin McDowell was apprehended by the FBI on Wednesday after he purchased a gun from an undercover agent in a South Carolina sting operation. He has already been in prison for other violent crimes so this dude probably wasn’t bluffing!

In prison he moved towards white supremacy and had been planning an attack inspired by Dylann Roof on a Synagogue. The target was thought to be the the Temple Emanu-El Conservative Synagogue.

On Facebook he had posted “you want to post if you ain’t got the heart to fight for Yahweh like dylann roof did you need to shut the f***** up.”

The FBI posed as White Supremacists and helped to sell him a gun where meeting with an agent he confirmed he wanted to “do something on a fuckin’ big scale and write on the fuckin’ building or whatever, ‘In the spirit of Dylann Roof.’

He was arrested the same day he purchased the .40 caliber Glock pistol from the agent, along with hollow-point ammunition.

He was a terrorist planning a hate based terror attack. We are glad he is behind bars.

NOTE: I’ve noticed that US Uncut had the guts to call it a Terror attack but stopped short of calling him a terrorist. Have any other media outlets used such words yet?
