The Michael Jackson ‘Thriller’ album continues to hit records numbers in terms of sales. It is the largest certified album in US history, 33 times the platinum, according to the Recording Industry Association of America. Since it was released in 1982, it has sold 33 million units of equivalent albums, including digital purchases.
