Marshawn Lynch Sits During Anthem In Protest After Weekend Of White Supremacist Violence

Apart from a few outliers Kaep has pretty much been out there alone, blacklisted from the NFL but no less solid in his resolve his punishment was seemingly working as many other NFL and sports starts failed to speak up on his behalf, maybe for fear of finding themselves in the same fate. Then, Marshawn Lynch came out of a one-year retirement, he sat on a water cooler during the pre-game anthem…. Is this the support Kaep needs?

We have a big issue now, the NFL as an organization has shown its true colors. Even if it changes its stance now we know it’s not from a place of giving any sh*ts, it will be a money decision solely.

But that doesn’t mean that more and more players backing Kaep’s stance doesn’t help. They are in a position of influence and will help the younger men and women feel supported and ready to fight injustice….

Back to what happened!

Sports Illustrated wrote:

Raiders Marshawn Lynch appeared to stage a silent protest before Oakland’s preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, taking a seat during the playing of the national anthem.

AP photographers snapped Lynch taking a seat on a cooler on the sidelines as the anthem played.

Lynch’s apparent protest comes in wake of this weekend’s violent white nationalist rallies in Charlottesville, Va. and falls in line with what Colin Kaepernick started around the NFL last season as players found ways to protest racism and police brutality during the playing of the anthem before games.

We support Marshawn suporting this fight! It prob won’t make me watch football but I still support it!

Of course, others think different, watch below!
