I JUST DONATED $28 dollars to the Warrick Dunn Charities and am CHALLENGING YOU to do the same. It isn’t a lot of money for us individually, but the funds can go along way to help people in need by giving to a man and charity so hard at work for others. (Picture proof below)
After our previous article on Warrick Dunn giving away his 139th home to a family in desperate need, I was contacted by the Executive Director of Warrick Dunn Charities, Lisa Chester, thanking us for providing exposure to their hard work. It was an humbling experience to know they appreciated our effort to shine a light on the wonderful hard work they are doing.
Proof of my $28 donation! Your turn, I CHALLENGE YOU!
Lisa is a fabulous woman and very passionate about their work they do at Warrick Dunn Charities. She provided a lot of insight and understanding about the work they do for others, the mission and energy of the organization. (And yes, she did correct my article by letting me know they are up to 144 homes now. AMAZING!)
She says Warrick lives up to the billing. He isn’t a perfect man, but a man of purpose. She respects him, which is refreshing to here. As a real fan of the former running back as a football player myself, it is great to hear he works just as hard off the field….to make a difference.

HOWEVER, that is all fine and great, but what we can really do for Warrick Dunn Charities and their movement to help them create sustainable people and families is to GET INVOLVED….by donating $28 dollars.
We must realize this is a nonprofit organization that works on donations and assistance. If we expect organizations like to continue doing the great work they are doing, then we must step up..if not with our time, then with our donations.
28 Challenge is an initiative where the nonprofit organization, which contributes .81 cents on every dollar directly to fulfilling their mission. A mission that not only is Mr. Dunn passionate about, but so are those working hard each day inside the organization. They aren’t there to get a check, but to make a difference.
(I’m not ashamed to admit it took me a while to realize why it is the 28 challenge. Dunn wore the number 28 on the football field. I know, I know, as a football fanatic, I should have known that.)
