FACE PALM: Trump Wonders Why There Was A Civil War And Compares Himself To A Notorious Slave Owner!

The hole just keeps getting dug, one shovel full at a time…. Actually one excavator bucket a time! He is just getting deeper and deeper and now a seemingly complete misunderstanding of history is making look dumber than ever…. BUT of course we should not be at all surprised now, should we!

Trump was giving an interview with the Washington Examiner’s Salena Zito, when he said:

“I mean, had Andrew Jackson been a little later, you wouldn’t have had the Civil War. He was a very tough person, but he had a big heart. And he was really angry that — he saw what was happening with regard to the Civil War. He said, ‘There’s no reason for this.’ People don’t realize, you know, the Civil War — if you think about it, why? People don’t ask that question, but why was there the Civil War? Why could that one not have been worked out?”

Errrrrr, no, I think most of us realise at least in a very basic form that the civil war was, why it happened and how things worked out.

Also, just a side note but Jackson died over a decade before the civil war and was a slave owner! Big heart, eh?

In March President Trump compared himself to Andrew Jackson whilst on a trip commemorating the seventh president’s 250th birthday saying:

“It was during the revolution that Jackson first confronted and defied an arrogant elite. Does that sound familiar to you?” Trump said. “Oh, I know the feeling, Andrew.”

Seriously, who the f*ck is this guy?
