Dr. Umar Johnson Speaking on Malcolm X, Dr. King, Marcus Garvey & the Black Panthers

by | Jul 2, 2015 | Blog | 0 comments

In this documentary, Dr. Johnson sits down to discuss Malcolm X legacy and influence in the world. However, he doesn’t stop there. The discussion evolves into Dr. King’s evolution, X’s similarities and relationship with Marcus Garvey, the Black Panthers, Kwame Ture and more.

At the crux of the discussion is the leaders involvement or evolution into Pan-Africanism, or the joining of black and brown people globally to control their economics and resources.

It is interesting listening to Dr. Johnson’s viewpoints on many of our great leaders here in the United States and how the Government directly impeded their growth and influence throughout history.
