Couple Creates Africa’s First Foldable Flats!

After realising that her friends loved her American foldable flats, Taffi Ayodele and her husband moved to Lagos in Nigeria and start Africa’s first foldable flats brand.

In 2012 Taffi was working in South Africa for a luxury brand. She grew up in New York so without question she always had a pair of foldable flats handy as she had to wear heels to the events she attended.

On doing some research her husband J.G. Ayodele realised that foldable flats were not on the African market or marketed by any African firms. So Thando’s (Which means Love) was born!
