Getting to the cover of Time magazine is always seen as a big thing and although the choices are sometimes not exactly important occasionally the magazine highlights very important issues and people.

This month, Colin Kaepernick features, kneeling, in the pose he has popularised as a statement against a flag and anthem of a country that oppresses black people and people of color.

Of course many could accuse Colin of doing this for fame and attention but even in the unlikely case that he is something is clear. The conversation is growing, people are losing fear, turning opinions and joining. Something is happening, sadly deaths and oppression isn’t changing yet but the voices and rising has to happen. Time’s addition to this subject is welcomed by me!

Here is what Time posted to Twitter

The issue will feature a cover story by writer Sean Gregory, he is talking to other althletes who have joined the movement.
