The people of Ferguson and around the country are fed up with police brutality when it comes to the black community. A recent law suit filed against the police department of Ferguson, MO. reflects this frustration.

Louis County used excessive force and falsely arrested innocent bystanders amid attempts to quell widespread unrest after the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown.

There are five plaintiffs in the law suit currently, but this number is expected to grow. The law suit was filed Thursday, August 29th, 2014, but recently released to the public.

Inside the law suit, there are complaints that a mother and son were roughed up inside of McDonald’s for not leaving quickly enough. A man was shot with rubber bullets and called racial names while walking in a peaceful protest. Even a man to claim to be arrest for just filming the transgressions of the police during their handling of the Ferguson protest.

There is no doubt many more people will step forward to be a part of this law suit. The attorney in charge of the claim, Malik Shabazz, expects it to happen and seems to be willing to broaden the scope to accommodate additional plaintiffs.
