The controversy surrounding the police killing of Michael Brown and the rising concerns of police brutality around the country are leading to some changes. Ground Zero for all of this controversy is Ferguson, MO, and they are experiencing major change in their police force.

The police officers in Ferguson, MO, started wearing body cameras attached to their uniforms. These are typically small lipstick style cameras or boxed cameras attached to the clothing of the officer. It faces and sees what the officer sees during an arrest or encounter with citizens.

The officers of Ferguson started wearing the cameras on Saturday. Approximately 50 cameras were donated to the police department for use. The two donating companies were Safety Visions and Digital Ally.
