Mimi Mbah is absolutely stunning, there is no other way to describe the dark skinned 19 year old aspiring model. However, there are always racists and trolls out there trying to kick someone else down.

The Cameroon teen, who lives in Maryland, had her photo featured on a Twitter account called African Beauties.

One commenter named Tosh wrote: “[If] she was lighter, she’d be fire”

So, she hit back by sharing his comment and writing “No thanks I wouldn’t trade my skin color for the world”.

Tens of thousands of shares and likes followed as well as scores and scores of supportive comments. Mimi’s troll was no where to be seen after the support turned up in huge numbers.

Seriously! See her tweet below:

She spoke to Daily Mail Online telling them:

“Reading the comments I definitely felt disappointed to see that there are still people out there that shame others for the darkness of their skin, but it didn’t surprise me because I’ve heard comments like those before.”

“I wanted to stand up not only for me, but for anybody who has felt or feel less than due to the ignorance of others.”

And She told BuzzFeed News:

“Now I feel like I have a platform which I want to use to talk about things like that and give advice to other dark skin women who are going through similar situations and probably blaming themselves for it…I actually wanted people to see that colorism is still real.”

“Overall I want all my dark skin girls to know that we are chocolate goddesses no matter what anyone says,”
