There are times when you might read some of my articles and think i’m anti-collegiate education, but that isn’t the case at all. In fact, I have a Master’s in Business Administration, so it is apparent that i’m very interested in higher education. Enough to put my money and time where my mouth is. If i’m critical, it is only because I know it isn’t for everyone.

black graduatesHowever, for those of you that are interested or have children on the verge of going to college, you really want to dig through this information here…and be sure to pass it along to someone else who might be. (We have to do a better job of sharing practical and useful information rather than just the ratchet mess I see on social media sites.)

Thanks to Dallas Weekly, we have a great list of available scholarships directed towards African Americans. Please be advised, these scholarships are due later this month, so you want to act fast on the application. There is still enough time to get them in.

The unfortunate thing about many scholarships in our community is they go unclaimed because people are not aware of them. Don’t allow these opportunities to pass someone by that may be able to benefit. Even if you are not interested, PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION ON YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS FOR OTHERS YOU KNOW THAT WILL BE ABLE TO USE IT!
