James Harris Jackson repeatedly stabbed Timothy Caughman in the chest and back on Monday night in Manhattan’s Hell’s kitchen. Caughman died at the hands of a white supremacist. He was unarmed, not a threat in any way, yet the mainstream media decided it was appropriate to attack his character, almost turning the story away from the fact that a man had purposely targeted another man in a hate crime, a race fuelled murder… And Jackson was unrepentive.
Raw Story published 11 things they had found that Caughman had posted to Twitter that shows a very different character to the one painted by the media. Here is a summary but check out the full article for the reasons behind these points.
1. Three days after the election, he tweeted out that “hate crime reports surge in US after Trump win.”
2. After Caughman tweeted his Election-Day selfie, the voter protection coalition Election Protection, tweeted out instructions and a hotline, which Caughman Retweeted right away.
3. That evening, Caughman showed off his election stamp.
4. He had been a supporter of Hillary Clinton.
5. And was not a fan of Donald Trump.
6. He was a big fan of Obama
7. Whom he wanted to pardon Black Nationalist and Pan-Africanist Marcus Garvey
8. He also tweeted about Angela Davis
9. And Malcolm X
10. And an art exhibit called “Orange is the New Black,” highlighting racism in the U.S.
11. And a “fear of Blackness.”
