Netflix “Community Project” Movie Shows ‘Real Representation’ Slice Of Life In The Projects

Imperial Dreams, a new Netflix Original stars John Boyega, Rotimi, Glenn Plummer, and Keke Palmer and chronicles a reformed gang member’s journey to care for his son and pursue his dreams of becoming a writer after serving a prison sentence.

The story is function but it’s filmed on site in South Central L.A. in a real housing project with the blessing and help of the community who wanted their life to have real representation in the movie.

It looks like an amazing project although maybe this was one instance where a guy from the US Projects should have been cast (Boyega is a great actor though and I am sure he is great in the role), learn more below:
