REST IN POWER: Chuck Berry Has Died Aged 90

Chuck Berry was found lifeless at his home in Missouri. The legendary rock and roll star was 90 years old.

Chuck practically defined rock and roll, hits such as “Maybellene,” “Roll Over Beethoven,” “Memphis,” “My Ding-a-Ling” and “Sweet Little Sixteen,” and of course “Johnny Be Goode” give Chuck a timeless legacy. His charm and presence will be missed but his music will always live on.

Charles County Police Department confirmed.

His cause of death has not yet been revealed but he was found lifeless at home.

In ’68 he became one of the first to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in ’85 he entered The Blues Foundation’s Blues Hall of Fame in ’85 and won a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

“If you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might call it ‘Chuck Berry.’”

Everyone from the Stones to the Beatles and pretty much everyone who has picked up a guitar since has been influenced by his groundbreaking music and career.
