“I’m a 16-year-old blond,”

“Probably all I have to do is cry, and they’re going to feel sorry for me.”

These were the chilling words of Dylan Schumaker, now 17, from Buffalo New York.

Dylan thought this was all he would have to do to get out of a hard sentence for beating his girlfriend’s 23-month old son to death.

However he appeared for sentencing last month and his words were read back to him, leading to a 25 years to life sentence.

Would this have happened had the video not gotten out there?

Who knows but white privilege in the court system is definitely alive and well.
