Rachel Dolezal on Welfare and on the Brink Homelessness

Rachael Dolezal is back in the news with a new story. Rachel became famous or rather infamous when the world found out she was pretending to be black and further used her blackness to rise through the ranks. The cultural fraud caused uproar among both the white and black communities which led to her resignation from NAACP.

In an interview with The Guardian, Rachel explains, “I have never questioned being a girl or a woman, for example, but whiteness has always felt foreign to me for as long as I can remember. I didn’t chose to feel this way or be this way, I just am.”

The 39 year old former NAACP leader who identifies as a black woman is in the brink of homelessness and living on food stamps. Regardless of the brokenness and homelessness, Dolezal maintains she won’t stoop as low as giving an apology for what she believes in. She further states that she will not live a life to please anyone.

Since the self-proclaimed black woman was outed by her white parents for pretending to be African American, she has been unsuccessful in finding a job. Dolezel claims to have applied for over 100 jobs including a lecture job at her former university with no luck. Well, the only luck she is getting besides a reality TV offer is from the porn managers who’ve been banging her door with job offers. We hope she won’t stoop that low.

Although the above is true, Rachel Dolezal has been busy writing her memoir, “In Full Color” which she is having difficulty gaining a publishing contract for.

The 256 page hardcover book will discuss the emotional bond formed with her adopted black siblings and the black community at large. The book also cites the forms of discrimination Dolezal has faced as a black woman.
