Wife Of Slain Indian Man Asks What Will The US Do To Stop Hate Crimes Against Minorities

Can you imagine facing the press, standing up in-front of the whole country, to talk just after your husband was murdered in cold blood, in a hate crime.

This is what the brave wife of Indian engineer Srinivas Kuchibhotla did. She stood up at a press conference with strong words and demanding answers.

Sunayana Dumala’s husband was a victim in an alleged hate crime at a bar in Olathe city. A man walked in a shot up the, her husband was the only fatality in the crime.

She said she had had doubts about staying in the US but her husband had comforted her saying “good things happen in America”.

She said:

“I need an answer from the government… What are they going to do to stop this hate crime?
