Michael Jackson daughter, Paris Jackson now 18 years-old, on first glance definitely appears to be white. Despite her appearance she considers herself to be a black woman. As child her father always told her she was black and to be proud of who she is.
“I consider myself Black. [Dad] would look me in the eyes and he’d point his finger at me and he’d be like, ‘You’re Black. Be proud of your roots,’” she said. “And I’d be like, ‘OK, he’s my dad. Why would he lie to me?’ So I just believe what he told me. ‘Cause, to my knowledge, he’s never lied to me.”
She does acknowledges that her appearance affords her privileges that most black women don’t have. “Most people that don’t know me call me white. I’ve got light skin and, especially since I’ve had my hair blond, I look like I was born in Finland or something.” Yet and still she was taught at a young age that she was black and this is how she identifies herself.
T IS WHAT IT IS because itzallconnected. When given a real choice, it seems that not one celebrity opts to call his/her body, or sense of Self — “white.” Black and white are “knot-races” that manifest as States Of Mind. Not all African-Americans are “black.” Prepare for The Shunning of [white] America. It will be called A 2020 Vision.
What ever else she is… she is wealthy, beautiful and intelligent. What else is required?

Really people are fighting about being black or white and white privilege….I am white my husband black and our kid white and blonde hair. I am still waiting for wgite privilage to help me out in this tough world, grew up with a drug addict father alcoholic mother and out of the home by 16…white privilege so no student welfare for you, No housing for you no government help for you. Renting a room even a walking closet one time, No food sometimes and no help for bus fare..ya white privilege has been great for some people to say but I can say B.S. I would had better help not being white
