At just 8 hours old Shanara Mobley had her baby taken away by a Jacksonville nurse. However that woman was not a nurse and it’s alleged she kidnapped the baby who was born Kimiyah Mobley.

18 years later and she has been reunited with her biological parents after a tip off.

Gloria Williams, 51, who stands accused of kidnapping her allegedly raised the baby like her own! She was renamed Alexis Manigo.

I can’t imagine how confusing this is for Alexis but the first meeting reportedly went very well.

Speaking to ABC on Saturday Craig Aikens, her biological father, said:

“First meeting was beautiful, wonderful. It couldn’t have gone better,”

Then talking with the Mail Online, he said:

“We laughed, we chatted. We didn’t allow any negative thoughts. We didn’t talk about the kidnapping,” he told the website. “It’s going to be hard for her to turn this into a positive. She’s got very mixed emotions about the woman who raised her.”

Williams is now facing kidnapping charges and those around her are shocked by the turn of events.
