Questionable behavior has erupted yet again at J.C. Penney but this time one of the individuals involved in the blow up was an employee.
Recently during the holiday chaos a J.C. Penney customer was caught on camera during a racist rant as she spewed racist’s innuendoes at a Spanish speaking customer. Last week at a J.C. Penney in Mishawaka, IN at University Park Mall, an employee was caught on camera putting a customer in a headlock.
The employee has yet to give an explanation as to why he assaulted the young lady. According to family accompanying the young that was assault, the employee asked them to leave the store because they didn’t belong there. This frustrated the young lady and she knocked over a display as they walked away. This is when the family said the male employee wrestled her into a headlock.
In the video, which has now been viewed over one hundred thousand times, you can hear customers tell the employee to let her. He said he would if everyone backed away from him but he never let her go. When mall security arrived they handcuffed her and took her to a holding room in the store.
The names of the young lady and the J.C. Penney employee have yet to be released. The young lady’s family does not feel comfortable revealing their identity until they speak with their lawyer. When WNDU news reached out to the J.C. Penney employee involved in the altercation via Facebook there was no response and the news anchor, Travis Robinson, was blocked. The mall also declined to comment on the situation.
