I’m sure you all remember last year when Rakeem Jones was being escorted from a Trump rally and he was sucker-punched by 79-year-old John Franklin McGraw on the way out?

It was a moment that summarised all that was wrong with Trump and why exactly the idealogy and the hate this man was digging up should not allow him to get voted in.

Well. Things have changed since then, Trump will be president and John Franklin McGraw, who after the incident seemingly had no regrets and hinted he may have to kill Rakee, seems to have had a huge U-turn on his feelings.

He was charged with assault and battery and disorderly conduct along with communicating threats for the “might have to kill” comments levelled against Rakeem if he came back into the rally.

McGraw has been given a year of probation but the biggest suprise was that he apologized. He said he was caught up in the “political mess.” and his attack was not race driven.

The pair hugged it out, outside of the court room, and vowed to stand together to fix the divided country.

Rakeen said:

“It just felt good being able to shake his hand…and face him,”
