Announced in a short video posted to a Luke Cage social media page it was announced that Luke Cage would be coming back for a second season! The acclaimed series stars Mike Colter who plays an almost-indestructible ex-con fighting crime in the streets of Harlem. Along with Mike Colter there is the legendary Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, and Rosario Dawson.

We can all look forward to seeing the indestructible black super hero fighting crime and teaching us some black history along the way. I’m sure they’ll do a great job building the anticipation for the new season especially since they haven’t announced when the season will start.

Netflix seems to be preparing for a takeover. They also announced the release date, March 17, 2017, for Iron Fist. We can also look forward to seeing Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Marvel and Netflix are making big moves.
