WHERE ARE BLUE LIVES MATTER? Innocent Black Former Corrections Officer Breaks Down After Police Beating

by | Dec 5, 2016 | News | 0 comments

Ronald Lanier wore a badge serving his country as a corrections officer for two decades. Now retired he has been humiliated by men who also wear the badge.

Ronald was shopping at Western Beef Supermarket in Mineola on Nov. 30. Minding his own business, police bust into the store, tackled him, beat him bad enough to land him in hospital and cuffed him, leaving him in a police car for 20 minutes.

The Garden City Officers are alleged to have ignored his calls that he was also a badge wearer and had attacked him on very little reason other than that they were looking for a black shop lifter who had abandoned his vehicle and run into the store.

Talking with the press, surrounded by civil rights advoctes, Lanier said:

“I’ve never been cursed, physically abused, beaten and treated like a slave as I was two days ago,”

“For somebody to grab me by the neck in the supermarket, and I’m telling you, ‘I’m one of you,’ and you disrespect it — it was like you’re just another black dude.”

And where are Blue Lives Matter right now? Not heard from them yet!
