Roc Nation’s New Latin Division Just Signed Its First Artist

Jay Z’s Roc Nation is doing big things with offices in London, Los Angeles and New York. Roc Nation has so many different umbrellas: talent agencies, record labels, concert and touring production companies, film, and music publishing house. Of course they work with some amazing artists and producers such as Big Sean, Rihanna, Kanye West Demi Lovato, Grimes, Dj Khaled, Rita Ora, Vic Mensa and many others.

Now Roc Nation is diversifying its rooster by adding Roc Nation Latin. Romeo Santos being appointed Chief Executive Officer at Roc Nation on June 16 confidently brought Mozart La Para aboard to represent the direction Roc Nation Latin is going in.

Mozart La Para’s style of fusing tropical music with urban music created a unique sound for him and fame quickly followed. Mozart La Para began his music career in early 2002 with songs like “Toy Enamarao” and “Aqui Nadie” winning in the United States. This collaboration will be remembered for ages. We haven’t had a diverse hip hop selection since Sean Paul brought fuse Jamaican music with hip hop. Definitely looking forward to this collaboration.
