Colin kaepernick’s protest against social injustice and inequality is not dying down, more and more are joining, more are speaking up. The latest backing comes from former Seahawks player Marshawn Lynch.
Lynch was on Conan when he was asked about the protest.
He said
“With what’s going on, I’d rather see him take a knee than stand up, put his hands up and get murdered,
“My take on it is, s–t, they got to start somewhere.
“I just hope people open up their eyes and see that there’s really a problem going on and something needs to be done for it to stop.
”
From cheerleaders to fellow football stars this movement is not being silenced and is only growing to a level where not addressing it as a wider society is not going to be an option.
Sadly, despite the social action police violence does not seem to be on the decline. Just yesterday another seemingly unarmed man, who also happened to be disabled and reading a book in his car, was shot dead.
