Two former Jasper, Texas police offices beat an African-American woman inside Jasper City Jail because she had an unpaid traffic ticket.

The now former officers Ricky Grissom and Ryan Cunningham beat Keyarika Diggles and the whole incident was caught on video.

They smashed her face on a counter and pinned her down on the floor, then dragged her on her feet into the holding cell.

She had been arrested over an unpaid ticket, where she still owed 0, however she had payments set up to settle the debt.

The officers still arrested her that morning.

Last December a civil rights law suit was settled against the city for $75,000. Although that is great news the officers have still effectively been let off the hook as a Grand Jury indicted the officers.
