That’s the words of Emmanuel Koranteng, who left the city life in the USA to go and farm pineapples in Ghana at Koranco Farms Ltd.
Producing pineapples for export is big business but it gives Emmanuel and his brother Edward (who also left city life and work in telecommunications) a chance to sustainably farm, employ many local people and use their expertise to build the business in Ghana where opportunities for farming and many other businesses seem to be getting stronger and stronger!
