Orisha’s Journey, A Beautiful Ghanaian Journey

Orisha’s Journey sees a young Ghanaian girl dismiss a legend of her grandfather’s about tress that still walk but then finds herself in the middle of a magical adventure with friends and enemies along the way!

The story and animation from New York City-based filmmaker, of Ghanaian descent, Abdul Ndadi strongly borrows from folklore and puts a black character at it’s center with a distinctly African feel.

The result is a beautiful and engrossing short. One I highly recommend you all watch! You can read more about the film here http://bit.ly/1YzsjDT but watch the full thing below.

Do you agree, it’s beautiful, isn’t it? We need more films like this!
