A Tennessee boy is seeing the results of his hard work after knuckling down for five long years to save the cash to pay for his own college.

Kevuntez King worked selling newspapers every Sunday from the ages of 12 to 17, putting every penny away (somehow he was getting 0 per Sunday).

He put the cash away bit by bit and now will be attending college fully on the money he saved.

Speaking to WHBQ King said:

“I just stay away from the negativity and try to always be positive,”

He grew up with a single mother and touts her has a huge influence saying:

“She just taught me how to be independent like she had it, (and) she just wanted me to go get it myself,”

“When it came down to school, my mom didn’t have to come out of pocket to do anything or I didn’t have to take out any loans to go to school,”

He will now be attention Tennessee State University.

This boy is a huge inspiration for us all and shows that we can ALL do what we want if we put our mind to it.
