It’s your Mom, your sister, black woman are the most educated today in North America.

We bow in respect to these ladies.

And it’s the first time in history for black women to be leading the way for education.

The numbers of degrees conferred to black students has steadily been on the rise for two decades. And in the U.S. between 2009 and 2010, black women specifically earned 68% of associate’s degrees awarded to African-American students.

They also earned 66% of bachelor’s degrees, 71% of master’s degrees, and 65% of all doctorate degrees, too.

Sadly black women are still making less in the workplace than men. This totally sucks and we need to stand up for their equality.
