“Anaya is 9 and the youngest published author in U.S. history to write a chapter book. Her page-turner about a boy’s struggle to balance life at home and school has inspired students from New York to Guyana, where her parents were born.” wrote the Daily NY News.

Basically this special smart little girl has a book on Amazon now and has made history at the same time. Basically from running before walking and reading at reading at two she always shone out as someone special.

On Thursday at a Brooklyn Borough Hall Black History celebration she was honored by young community leaders.

Her fave books include “I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban,” and “Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance” by President Obama. Heavy reading for such a young girl!
