Stanford and other Universities are proving Bernie Sanders right, school does not have to leave students financially devastated after graduation
.
The University has $21 billion endowment and it uses that money to help students. They are proud to say that majority of their students have no debts after receiving their undergraduate degree.

Stanford encourages talented and ambitious people to complete application process, even if they don’t have financial ability, according to Stanford’s twelfth Provost.

That can be surpassed. That can be surpassed.
The other prestigious Universities have followed this trend. Universities like Princeton, Harvard and Yale offer free tuition for low income families. At Princeton students from families making less than $120,000 per year receive free tuition and families under $60,000 also get free room and board. Both Harvard and Yale eliminate tuition for families making less than $65,000 and require students whose families make under $150,000 to contribute no more than ten percent of the cost of tuition.

This gives hope to students that come from low income neighborhoods who dream of going to college but believe their families can’t afford it. Knowing opportunities like this are available for some students can be life changing!
