A lot of buzz is happening around Beyoncé’s political statements at this years superbowl but Queen B has been highlighting racial issues for a long time and last year her performance of Take My Hand, Precious Lord had an amazing message that we should remember.

She was backed by powerful voices of black men. These were real men that she had found with purpose.

She wanted to find real men who had real experience to back her performance of a very powerful and personal song to her. The men were there to honor all black men and highlight racial injustice.

To show this she made an 8-min mini documentary where the men themselves speak. The result is very powerful and the doc can be watched below:
